Breakfast at The White Dog
To Honor: Innovators in White Anti-Racism Work

Wednesday, September 8, 2004, 8-10am

Antje Mattheus and Lorraine Marino, who led the nationally-recognized workshop series "White People Confronting Racism," will be honored with a Breakfast at the White Dog.

As a girl in war-torn Germany, Antje experienced the splintering impact of bigotry and, as an adult, dedicated herself to challenging racism. In 1997, she launched the present series and was joined by organizational development consultant Lorraine Marino in leading high-impact workshops that, without inviting blame and shame, support white people in taking deep responsibility for ending racism. George Lakey, director of Training for Change, which sponsors the series, will join Antje, Lorraine and graduates of the workshops to speak.

$30 includes 8am breakfast, tax, tip and discussion. All profits benefit the anti-racism work of people of color and white people at Training for Change. Call 215-386-9224 for reservations.
